attribute rank question. - Guild Wars Forums

I am a lvl 20 ranger. I currently have 20 attribute points pumped in to marksmanship and my rank is 12 points.

is 12 points the highest I can get in marksmanship? I tried lowering other attriubute areas but it still won't let me put more points in to it.

you can get up to 16 with a 3+rune and 1+ headgear

headgear at armor crafter
rune from salvage if very lucky or from someone willing to sell

You'd need a superior rune, or 3 Minors to get the +3.

I was told that using multiple runes of the same type in different armor pieces is a waste. That you would only get bonus from which ever one gives the highest plus. Is that inaccurate?

yeah, i made the mistake of buying all 5 runes, all for way too much money. Experience is a virtue.

You are correct, only 1 of the same rune type will work, and the highest takes precidence.
